Children under the Age of 13

We do not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable from children under 13. Information We Collect about You and How We Collect It

 

We collect several types of information from and about users of the Site, including information:

 

  • By which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and or any other information the Site collects that is defined as personal or personally identifiable information under an applicable law (“Personally Identifiable Information").
  • That is about you but that by itself cannot be used to identify or contact you, such as demographic information (like age, education, occupation or gender).
  • About your internet connection, the equipment you use to access the Site and usage details.

 

We collect this information:

Each of your Movies is limited-access, which means that a user is given a URL in order to access the Movie. The specific URL to the Movie will be provided to the user via e-mail and also made available to the user when logged into the Site.

 

If you designate your Movie as Private, you will need to share the URL with other users to view the Movie. The URL system makes it almost impossible for any unauthorized third party to gain access to the Movie, without an invitation from you with the URL address. The Movies, however, are not password-protected, therefore, there is a possibility that an unauthorized third party may gain access to your Movie.  Sharing the link or e-mail with the link with any other person will result in that person gaining total access to the Movie including to Personally Identifiable Information within the Movie.

 

If you designate your Movie as Public, other users will be able to find the URL of your Movie by browsing and searching on the Site.  You and other users will be able to directly share your Movie and its URL to social media sites.

 

We may also include your Movie in a Company advertisement. In such a case, we will seek your consent to use the Movie.

 

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies. As you navigate through and interact with the Site, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns, including:

 

  • Details of your visits to the Site, including traffic data, location data, logs and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Site.
  • Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system and browser type.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

 

You can review and change your Personally Identifiable Information by logging into the Site and visiting your account profile page.

 

You may also send us an e-mail at legal@LIFIE.com to request access to, correct or delete any Personally Identifiable Information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your Personally Identifiable Information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

 

If you delete your User Content from the Site, copies of your User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Site users. Your California Privacy Rights

 

California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of the Site that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We have implemented measures designed to secure your Personally Identifiable Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure.

 

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of the Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask that you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Site like message boards.
